Snacking in a Car

When hungry we are less picky…

When hungry we usually reach for unhealthy foodstuff. In fact, we should do exactly the opposite – use hunger as the incentive to eat something healthy. However, as hunger on its own is obviously not enough, perhaps a combination with the restricted selection of foods could do the trick.
Our cars should be stocked with healthy snacks like pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, dried fruit and others. Healthy energy bars are a good choice too. When we get hungry while commuting, healthy snacks will eliminate hunger and provide us with healthy nutrition.
This strategy has shown to be efficient with children as well. While driving, children often complain of being bored so snacking comes as a fun activity. If left with no choice, they will accept healthy snacks. Perhaps not every time, but on occasions they certainly will. Especially if they see their parents eating them as well.
Find what suits you the best, pack it into a convenient container and keep it in the car.
Method tested and – it works! Why don’t you try it too?
