Rice with tuna

Great lunch, ready in a minute…

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 150 g long grain rice
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 bay leaf
  • a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper

Preparation (30min):
Wash rice and boil it in salted water; drain and set aside.
Heat the cream to a boil with a bay leaf and grated nutmeg.
Sauté chopped onion in butter, add rice, add tuna torn into small pieces; pour over with prepared cream and boil briefly.
Add salt and pepper to taste towards the end of cooking and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
Serve with hard boiled eggs cut into slices, tomato and mozzarella salad, olives or some other salad.
